Community Chest Grants Available

Torfaen Sports clubs are being reminded they may be eligible for a community chest grant. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The scheme is open to any group wishing to organise activities aimed at getting more people, more active, more often, regardless of age. This could mean new activities or raising the standard of existing activities. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The maximum grant available is £1500 and deadline for applications is Monday 2nd May. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Applications need to apply through the online grants management system (OGMS) through the Sports Wales website. Applicants will be able to access the application form and begin the submission process from 4pm on Friday, 18 March to Thursday 31 March; however you will not be able to submit before Friday 1 April. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
