Key Speaker Announced For Torfaen Business Exhibition

BBC Wales’s business correspondent, Brian Meechan, has been announced as the key note speaker for the Torfaen Business Exhibition which takes place on Wednesday 17 May at Cwmbran Stadium. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Brian covers business stories for Wales Today, and also presents the weekly programme Wales at Work. He has extensive knowledge of the UK business world, regularly interviewing the CEOs of international companies and small business owners alike. He will take to the stage at 10:30am. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

A full programme is currently being planned, with a networking breakfast, speakers and workshops. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Delegates will have the opportunity to network with others in the Torfaen business community and there are opportunities for businesses to book stands to showcase their products or services. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The first event in 2015 attracted more than 50 exhibitors, while more than 200 people passed through the doors. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The business exhibition takes place at Cwmbran Stadium on Wednesday May 17 from 9am until 1pm. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
