Get Arty In Pontypool Park This Half Term

Community arts group Head4Arts are running an art and craft event in Pontypool Park on Sunday October 23 from 10.30am until 3pm. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

During Arty Parky, participants will work alongside environmental artist Kate Raggett to create spectacular land drawings made entirely from natural materials foraged in the parks, such as fallen leaves, twigs, conkers and seeds. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Participants are welcome to join in at any time throughout the day and stay as long as they like. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The event will take place in light rain, but may be postponed in the event of severe weather. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
