Barry Careers Fair

Young people will have the opportunity to talk with local and national employers at an upcoming event in the Vale of Glamorgan. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Organised by Barry Communities First and Careers Wales, 16 -24 year olds will be able to meet with potential employers, at a specially arranged Careers Fair. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Employers including the BBC, Ikea, Dow Corning, GE Aviation and the Vale of Glamorgan Council will be attending, as well as training providers, to discuss employment and training options available. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The Careers Fair will be taking place on Thursday 10 March, between 12pm and 2pm at Barry Memorial Hall. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
