Briefing Sessions To Be Held For Forthcoming Elections

The Vale of Glamorgan Council’s Returning Officer, Debbie Marles, is set to welcome all Councillors, and all potential future Councillors, to a series of Candidates and Agents briefing sessions for the forthcoming Local Government Elections in May 2017. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The sessions will be hosted by the Returning Officer, who will be providing a presentation that covers the election timetable and processes, nominations, electoral registration and absent voting arrangements. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

All sessions are open to current councillors and all potential candidates, and provide an excellent opportunity for those wishing to ask various questions relating to the poll. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
