Council Agrees Improvement Objectives For 2016-17

The Vale of Glamorgan Improvement Plan Part 1: Improvement Objectives 2016-17 was agreed at a meeting of full Council on 27th April. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Rob Thomas, Managing Director, said: “The Council consistently seeks to provide the best possible service to the residents of the Vale of Glamorgan, whilst at the same time striving to improve. We have a statutory duty to set specific Improvement Objectives each year and set targets against these objectives in order to drive improvements in areas that are important to us and citizens. Five Improvement Objectives have been set this year, informed by the Council’s Corporate Plan, our Annual Corporate Self-Assessment, our annual service planning process, reports from our external regulators, as well as consultations taken over the past two years.” ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
