The campaign tackles the problem of dog mess, and the Council hopes the message will hit home with those who let their dogs down by not picking up. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Cllr Gwyn John, Cabinet Member for Visible, Leisure and Regulatory Services, said: “Dog mess is not only unsightly, smelly and a potential health hazard; it’s also illegal not to pick up after your dog. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“We know there are lots of caring dog owners out there, who understand the responsibilities as well as the joys of being a dog owner. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“We just hope that those dog owners, who don’t pick up, get behind the campaign and do the right thing, pick it up and put it in the bin!” ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
