Litter Champions Congratulated
The Vale of Glamorgan Council’s Visible Services Task Group, in partnership with Keep Wales Tidy, has hosted a presentation morning for Litter Champions throughout the Vale of Glamorgan.
Litter Champions are a group of enthusiastic Keep Wales Tidy volunteers, who dedicate their time to keep the local area clean, by picking up litter.
Amongst those receiving awards, were litter pick groups from Cowbridge, Cwm Talwg Woods, St Athan, Barry, Penarth Marina and SCOPE Litter Group.
Congratulating them for their amazing volunteer work, and ensuring the Vale stays tidy, Chairman of the Visible Services Task Group, Cllr Gwyn John said: “I’m proud to present the certificates recognising the on-going hard work, dedication and true community spirit of the Litter Champions”.
If you would like to do your bit for the environment, then why not become a Keep Wales Tidy Litter Champion? Keep Wales Tidy relies on the hard work, goodwill and dedication of volunteers and by becoming a Litter Champion you can change the behaviour of those who act irresponsibly and inspire them to follow your example.
