Litter Champions Congratulated

The Vale of Glamorgan Council’s Visible Services Task Group, in partnership with Keep Wales Tidy, has hosted a presentation morning for Litter Champions throughout the Vale of Glamorgan. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Litter Champions are a group of enthusiastic Keep Wales Tidy volunteers, who dedicate their time to keep the local area clean, by picking up litter. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Amongst those receiving awards, were litter pick groups from Cowbridge, Cwm Talwg Woods, St Athan, Barry, Penarth Marina and SCOPE Litter Group. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Congratulating them for their amazing volunteer work, and ensuring the Vale stays tidy, Chairman of the Visible Services Task Group, Cllr Gwyn John said: “I’m proud to present the certificates recognising the on-going hard work, dedication and true community spirit of the Litter Champions”. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
