This article is old - Published: Sunday, Oct 23rd, 2016

The Vale of Glamorgan Council’s Road Safety team are on the lookout for enthusiastic and reliable volunteers to help deliver their Child Pedestrian Training across Vale of Glamorgan primary schools. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

The training includes several aspects of road safety, including finding safe places to cross the road, choosing the safest routes, crossing junctions safely and how to deal with parked vehicles. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Those who express interest in delivering the training will be required to undergo a Criminal Record Check with the Disclosure and Barring Service, owing to the fact that the work will be delivered in schools. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
