The Vale Youth Forum is a registered charity that helps young people voice their concerns on issues that affect them and their local community. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Members of the Vale of Glamorgan Youth Cabinet and Vale Youth Forum attended and supported the fundraiser, getting into the community spirit and packing local residents’ shopping. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

The day proved to be a great success, with over £300 being raised for the Vale Youth Forum. The Youth Mayor presented the monies raised to the Chair of the Vale Youth Forum, Erin Jennings. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Leader of the Council, Cllr. Neil Moore, said of the Youth Cabinet and Forum: “It is great to see so many young members of our county engaging with our communities, and voicing their opinions on matters that affect them and the people they represent. I am a huge believer in our Youth Cabinet and this fund-raiser yet again highlights their commitment to bringing about positive change for the younger residents in our county.” ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

The money will go towards helping with advertisement and promotion in the local community, which will encourage more young people to join the forum and represent young people in their local communities. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
