Children from Ysgol Gynradd Nebo Primary School donated unwanted clothes, toys and books to Wales Air Ambulance, to be sold in the charity’s shops across the country. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

The school’s donations will help the charity raise the £6.5 million needed every year to keep Wales Air Ambulance’s four helicopters flying. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Lynne Garlick, WAA Fundraising Manager, said: “We would like to say a huge thank you to the children from Ysgol Gynradd Nebo Primary School for helping to fund our services. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“The children from Ysgol Gynradd Nebo Primary School are raising the donations to fund our missions, helping poorly children and sick adults across Wales with their kind support.” ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

The donations from the primary school will be sold to generate donations for the Welsh helicopter charity. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

The network of Wales Air Ambulance shops sells pre-loved item to fund the service’s mission, with each of WAA’s missions costing around £1,500. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Lynne said: “By having a Spring clean and donating your unwanted items to our shops, you can raise vital donations. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“As a charity, we rely on kind support to fund our missions – whether that is donating a pound in a collection bucket, volunteering your time, or donating to our shops. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“This support is what keeps our helicopters flying across Wales.” ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
