Burry Port To Kidwelly Move
As part of our ongoing work to modernise the Dyfed-Powys Police estate, Burry Port Police Station will close to the public today and the officers usually working from there will move to their new temporary base at Kidwelly Police Station.
Officers will return to the extended and refurbished base in Burry Port during early April 2017.
Policing services will be unaffected during this time, with Officers new mobile devices enabling them to spend more time on their patch and reducing the need to return to the station.
Anyone wanting to contact an Officer can do so via 101, by e-mail on LlanelliEastNPT@dyfed-powys.pnn.police.uk or via Twitter @NPTLlanelliWest. You should continue to call 999 in an emergency situation.
The team will continue to host their monthly PACT Meetings for residents of Burry Port and Pembrey, on the first Wednesday of every month at Plas y Mor, Burry Port.
Dyfed-Powys Police is working through a significant programme of work to improve the whole estate, with the long term aim being to create safe and secure spaces which are fit for purpose. Burry Port Police Station is a key policing hub within the Llanelli Rural Sector and an investment here now provides best value for money for the future.
