Coastal Incident Involving Fishing Vessel Abereiddi Area, Pembrokeshire

HM Coastguard, RNLI and Dyfed Powys Police are currently dealing with a coastal incident following a report of a fishing vessel in difficulties in the Abereiddi area on St Davids’ Head, Pembrokeshire. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

At this time it is believed that the fishing vessel contained two fishermen, a search for these persons is ongoing. Police are appealing for any witnesses to the incident to phone 101 quoting message 188 of 28th of April 2016. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Family members of the crew have been made aware and are currently being supported by Police officers. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
