Pedestrian Police Officer In Collision With Car, Bridge Street, Haverfordwest

Police are investigating following a Road Traffic Collision in Bridge Street, Haverfordwest at approx. 6.35pm this evening. A male police officer, who was on duty and in uniform, was in collision with a silver Ford Mondeo car, after he came out of an alleyway on foot. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

He has been conveyed to Withybush hospital by ambulance, where the extent of his injuries are yet to be determined, but not believed to be life threatening. His colleagues are understandably upset, and are supporting him and his family at this time. Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision to contact them on 101. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
