Police Appeal Following Fatal Road Traffic Collision A40 Between Llandovery And Halfway

“Police are attending a road traffic collision which occurred just before midday today, Sunday October 2nd 2016, on the A40 between Llandovery and Halfway. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The vehicles involved were two motorbikes and a Peugeot Van towing a trailer. Tragically both riders of the motorbikes died at the scene. Next of kin have been advised and our thoughts remain with the families. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The driver and passenger of the van have been taken to hospital for treatment. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The road is closed in both directions with diversions in place. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
