Recruitment Of Welsh Language Trainers To Deliver The Rider Intervention Developing Experience [RIDE] Course
Dyfed-Powys Police are looking for Welsh language, qualified individuals to be part of a team of trainers to deliver the RIDE training course across the Dyfed-Powys area.
RIDE is a classroom based course specifically aimed at motorcyclists who have committed a wide range of offences and whose attitude and behaviour mean that they take unacceptable risks on the road. RIDE aims to produce safer and more reasonable attitudes and increase their understanding and awareness of the consequences and impact of their actions.
Dyfed-Powys Police are specifically looking for Welsh Language Trainers for the Behavioural Change Specialist role. A summary of the main essential requirements is as follows:
Behavioural Change Specialist Trainer (Welsh Language Trainers only required)
An accreditation in delivering behavioural programmes for adults
At least one year’s experience of delivering learning or training in a one-to-one or one-to-many setting
Ability to challenge attitudes constructively, including when people are resistant to change
Excellent knowledge of the Highway Code.
Training will take place on 28 & 29 of November 2016 at Dyfed-Powys Police Headquarters, Carmarthen.
