Search for two missing men in Brecon Beacons

Dyfed-Powys police along with Brecon Mountain Rescue teams and helicopter support from RAF Kinloss are currently searching for two men who are missing on the hills around Dan-yr-Ogof and The Black Mountain in the Brecon Beacons. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Police were alerted to missing men just after 5.30pm on Saturday, 20 February and a search was immediately launched. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The males are in their 40’s and from the South Wales area. They are believed to be well equipped as one of the men has been described as an experienced hill walker. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The search is currently on-going and being co-ordinated by specialist Police search officers along with the Mountain Rescue team. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
