Licensing Hours Extended To Celebrate The Queen’s Birthday

Pub licensing hours in Powys will be extended next week to mark Her Majesty The Queen’s 90th birthday, the county council has confirmed. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Powys County Council’s Licensing Team is reminding pubs and clubs licenced to trade until 11pm will be allowed to remain open an extra two hours each night on Friday 10 and Saturday 11 June. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The extension was announced by the government as part of official celebrations to mark The Queen’s birthday. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
