Appeal For Owner Of Emaciated Blue French Bulldog
RSPCA Cymru is appealing for information to track down the owner of an emaciated blue French bulldog.
The RSPCA was alerted that a dog with welfare concerns had been taken to a veterinary surgery on 21 July (Thursday). It is believed the dog has either come from the Newport or Cardiff area.
RSPCA inspector Christine McNeil said: “This poor dog has been described as emaciated by a vet with other health issues.
“She is currently in our care and is receiving veterinary treatment. She is slowly recovering but is in a serious condition.”
The dog is microchipped and enquiries are being made.
Inspector McNeil said: “We’re appealing for information to see if anyone recognises this dog.
“If anyone does have any information about this dog or her owner, please contact the RSPCA inspectorate appeal line on 0300 123 8018. Calls are treated in confidence.”
