Easter eggs-travaganza at RSPCA Newport Animal Centre
RSPCA Newport Animal Centre is inviting one and all to join them for two Easter egg hunts this spring.
The egg-cellent Easter hunt events will be taking place on Tuesday, 29 March and Friday, 1 April from 2.30pm to 3.30pm.
Animal centre manager Debbie Caffull said: “There will be a fancy dress competition and a prize will be given to the best costume.
“Anyone is welcome to take part in our Easter egg hunt and will receive an Easter egg for getting involved.
“The event will also give us a chance to show visitors some of the animals we have at the centre that are looking for forever homes.
“Our rabbits looking for homes will be in our ‘hopping haven’ for people to visit and staff will be on hand to give advice on how to care for them.
“We really hope people join us for our fun Easter hunt and also come and meet some of the animals at the centre,” said Debbie.
“Please put the dates in your diary! We are also asking for donations of chocolate easter eggs for the prizes. You can just hand them into the centre based at Hartridge Farm Road at any time. We’re open 11.30am to 4pm everyday, except Thursdays.”
