Four Puppies Found Dead In Bridgend Clothing Bank
Four tiny dead puppies have been found in a Salvation Army clothing bank in Bridgend.
The pups were found in the bank at a Co-op shop, at the Square, in Pencoed on Saturday 21 January, after being found by a member of the public.
RSPCA Cymru is urging anyone who may have any information about the incident to contact the charity.
It is unclear what breed the puppies are due to their tender age – and it is possible they were dumped after being stillborn. They were a mixture of black, white and grey in colour.
The clothing bank had previously been emptied on 17 January, so the puppies had been dumped in the container at some point in the four days which followed.
RSPCA inspector Leigh Summers said:
“It is completely unclear why these puppies were dumped in this clothing bank in this way.
“The four tiny puppies were newborn – so may have been stillborn, but we’d like to decipher more information about the circumstances behind this unusual incident.
“We’re urging anyone who may know anything about this matter in the Pencoed area to contact our inspectorate appeal line, on 0300 123 8018. Calls are treated in confidence.”
