Generous Donation From Llandudno Choir To RSPCA Bryn-Y-Maen Animal Centre
A Llandudno choir has used their vocal chords to help animals in need in their area.
The Harmony Singers of Llandudno recently presented a £500 cheque to RSPCA Bryn-y-Maen Animal Centre deputy manager Mel Kermode and animal centre volunteer Mags Richardson.
Animal centre manager Vicky Williams said: “We were absolutely delighted to be chosen as one of the charities that the Harmony Singers have fundraised for this year.
“We are really grateful for the £500 which will go towards helping the many rescue animals at the centre.”
Harmony Singers secretary Glenda Owen said: “We were so pleased to be able to donate to the RSPCA Bryn-y-Maen Animal Centre.
“We hold weekly concerts at St John’s Church, Mostyn Street, Llandudno, every Monday night from the end of May until mid-September every year.
“The money raised at these concerts is shared between local and national charities at the end of the season. This year, the choir donated to nine charities which now brings the total amount of money raised over the last six years to £39,000.”
