Pony Bargoed Feb16RSPCA inspector Christine McNeil said: “This poor pony was in a terrible state. She was alert but struggled to walk and was very hunched up. She has severe problems affecting her hind legs which is worse on the left.” ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

The pony is undergoing veterinary treatment. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“She is extremely thin and her condition is very serious,” said inspector McNeil. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“She has been made comfortable but she is not in a good way. She isn’t microchipped so we can’t identify her owner. We don’t know where she has come from. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“We want to hear from anyone who recognises her and knows who she belongs to. She is very sweet.” ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Anyone who may have information about this pony should contact the RSPCA inspectorate appeal line on 0300 123 8018. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
