Two Dogs Dumped In Serious Condition In Swansea
RSPCA Cymru is appealing for information after two dogs were found in a serious condition, dumped in a metal basket in a Swansea park.
The two dogs – one a pug type dog and the other mastiff cross – were found at Ravenhill Park on Sunday morning (30 October).
Both dogs were taken to an independent vets for immediate treatment. Sadly due to her condition a decision was made by the vet for the pug to be put to sleep to prevent her from suffering further.
The other dog, who has been named Henry, is receiving treatment for a skin condition.
RSPCA inspector Keith Hogben said: “Both of these dogs were found in a poor condition and needed urgent veterinary treatment. Sadly the pug was in such a state the vet made the decision to put her to sleep. The eight-week-old had a serious skin condition and there were concerns with her heart.
“Poor Henry has an awful skin condition, but now he is receiving veterinary treatment we hope it will improve.
