Technology Leaders To Unite In Wrexham For First Digital Futures Conference

LEADERS in technology and marketing will headline the first ever Digital Futures conference at Wrexham Glyndwr University. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The inaugural event takes place on Tuesday October 11, with keynote speakers from Google, The Rockart Agency, Superfast Business Wales and Click-Convert. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Vice-Chancellor Professor Maria Hinfelaar will open proceedings, reflecting on the University’s role in bringing research and technology to the forefront of industry, spearheaded by North Wales Business School and its world-leading Computing department. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Organisers Judith Alexander, Laura Gough and Christine Law hope this conference will be the first of many and look forward to welcoming up to 400 people over the course of the day. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Christine added: “We are thrilled to be hosting the conference at Wrexham Glyndwr; the response has already been hugely positive as there is a real desire to explore the digital market in our region.” ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Among the topics to be discussed are content marketing, e-mail, mobile, social media and SEO. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
