Appeal Aggravated Burglary Wrexham

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man sustained serious injuries during a burglary at an address near the Prices Lane junction, Rhosddu, Wrexham. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Two men entered the property and attacked the victim stealing money and a mobile phone during the incident which happened shortly before 1am. on Thursday 12 January 2017. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The victim is currently receiving medical treatment for his injuries, which are serious, but not life threatening or life changing. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

DS Anne-Louise Jones has said; ‘This was a serious and unprovoked attack. The victim is receiving appropriate medical attention and is very shaken by the incident. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
