Appeal Attempted Robbery Wrexham

Police are appealing for information following an attempted robbery in Caia Park Wrexham. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The incident happened at Unique Hair and Beauty off the Queenswsay roundabout at around 5.20pm yesterday March 23. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

A male entered the premises and demanded money, but fled empty-handed. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

He is described as thin and about 5ft 6ins tall. He was wearing a black hooded top, black gloves and knee-length navy blue shorts. He also had a scarf covering his face. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The suspect made off on a bicycle in the direction of Montgomery Road. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

DS Roz Hewitt said; “No one was hurt and nothing was stolen. I am appealing for anyone who may have information which would assist our investigation, to contact police on 101, quoting reference V040511.” ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
