Appeal Following Robbery In Rhyl
Police are appealing for witnesses following a robbery at a Rhyl store.
The robbery happened at 9.54pm, last night, Thursday 23rd March, when three males armed with weapons entered Llewelyn Stores on Trellewelyn Road in Rhyl and threatened the owner.
The 3 males, who were all wearing dark clothing, left the store with a small quantity of cash.
Following a search of the area two juveniles were arrested in connection with the incident. They remain in custody awaiting interview.
The shopkeeper sustained a minor injury to her hand, which did not require medical treatment.
Detective Inspector Iwan Roberts said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who was in the vicinity at the time of the incident or anyone who may have witnessed three males acting suspiciously in the area between 9.30pm and 10.30pm.”
