Appeal Following Two Burglaries In Old Colwyn

Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary and an attempt burglary in the Old Colwyn area last Friday afternoon. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Items of jewellery, along with an iPhone and games console were stolen during the incidents which happened between 2pm and 4pm on Friday 10th March. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Two men have been arrested and charged with the burglaries. Josh Drabble and Danny Shacklady have appeared before Llandudno Magistrates today. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Two others, who were arrested in connection with the incidents, have also been bailed pending further enquiries. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

DC 2751Chris Williams said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen two men acting suspiciously in the Old Highway and Pen y Bryn Road areas between 2pm and 4pm on Friday afternoon.” ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
