Appeal For Female Witnesses To Come Forward

Police in Wrexham are appealing for a group of women who came to the assistance of a man who had been assaulted to come forward. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

At around 2.30am on Saturday March 5 a 21 year old man was assaulted as he approached the roundabout junction of Ruabon Road and Fairy Road. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The victim was punched several times by the male offender and fell to the ground. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The offender made off in the direction of the town centre. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

A group of three or four women came to the victim’s assistance and asked if he was alright. He then made his way home and later discovered that his mobile phone was missing. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
