Assault On Anglesey: Man Charged
A man has been remanded to appear before court following a serious assault on his brother on Anglesey during the early hours of this morning (Saturday, 24th December).
Shortly after 3:30am officers were called to an address in Tyn y Gongl following a report that a man had been assaulted.
A 28-year-old man was taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor by ambulance with head injuries.
A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault and has since been charged with grievous bodily harm. Jamie Warner of Maes Goronwy, Tyn y Gongl is due to appear before a special court at Caernarfon Magistrates on Boxing Day.
Detective Sergeant Dafydd Curry said court: “This male will now spend Christmas in the cells awaiting court. Please listen to the North Wales Police warning – domestic abuse will not be tolerated.”
