Crimewatch On BBC One At 9pm Detectives Will Appeal For Help
On tonight’s Crimewatch on BBC One at 9pm detectives will appeal for help in identifying who was murdered, and their body left, in a remote forest in North Wales.
In November last year, two brothers were camping in the forest in Conwy ahead of the motor sport event Wales Rally GB when they made a gruesome discovery. Whilst searching for firewood, they uncovered human remains.
North Wales Police launched a large scale forensic search and were able to recover virtually an entire male skeleton.
Pathology indicated the man had died from blunt trauma to the head, and a murder investigation was launched.
Since then, detectives have worked tirelessly to find the identity of this man and despite gathering some vital clues, his identity is still unknown
On tonight’s Crimewatch on BBC One, detectives will reveal for the first time a detailed picture of what the victim could have looked like and appeal for help from anyone who may recognise a loved one or friend.
They’ve worked closely with a leading forensic artist and odontologist on the case, both of whom will reveal what they know on the programme at 9pm.
