North Wales Police’s continued crack-down into the supply and possession of controlled drugs in Gwynedd North continued this morning, Thursday 25th February 2016, when local Police executed a of Misuse Of Drugs Act search warrant in Bangor. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Officers seized a quantity of what is believed to be controlled drugs as well as associated paraphernalia. One local man aged in his late teens has been arrested for being concerned in the supply of Class A and Class B Drugs. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Sergeant Andrew Davies at Bangor Police Station said “The warrant was executed at an address in Holyhead Road Bangor where controlled drugs were recovered as well as drugs related paraphernalia. One local man was arrested and following interview was bailed pending further enquiries.” ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

“Our enquiries continue but we are eager to hear from anyone who has any information about the supply of controlled drugs in the Bangor and Caernarfon areas to contact Police or Crimestoppers. I am confident that with the help and support of the public we can effectively target those few individuals who sell drugs in our towns and cause the most harm in our communities”. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
