Drugs Seized Following A Police Operation In Bangor
Four men have been arrested and drugs, suspected to be heroin, seized following a police operation in Bangor on Tuesday April 5.
A warrant was executed at a flat in Plas Popty, Bangor under Section 8 of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act.
Several large quantities of suspected class A drugs were recovered along with a significant quantity of cash.
Following the Bangor warrant two follow up searches were conducted by North Wales Police officers in the Merseyside area. A phone was seized from one of the Merseyside addresses.
Two men from the Bangor area and two from Merseyside were arrested in the Bangor operation and have since been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Inspector Andy McGregor said; “I would appeal to the local community to identify individuals dealing in class A drugs in the Bangor and North Gwynedd Area.
“We need information on individuals involved in supplying drugs and the vehicles they use.
“Last year we significantly increased the number of warrants targeting the supply of class A drugs in our area with notable successes and we are determined to continue this work with your support.”
