Fire in Llandudno Junction – update 3
Emergency services remain at the scene at a commercial property on Vale Road, Llandudno Junction after a fire that occurred yesterday evening (Thursday 18th February).
At its height over 40 firefighters were in attendance tackling the fire which is now under control but crews remain present whilst damping down.
Smoke remains in the area this morning therefore the public are advised to keep windows and doors closed in nearby areas.
North Wales Police and North Wales Fire and Rescue Service are working closely together with Scottish Power to return power to the area so that residents who were evacuated as a precaution can return to their properties and so that businesses can get back to normal.Structural engineers are working to assess the safety of the stricken building.
An investigation will be conducted today to establish the cause of the fire.
