Police are issuing a further appeal in relation to the search for Michael Bryn Jones, who has been missing from the Bangor are since the early hours of Sunday 3rd April. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

The last confirmed sighting of Michael was at approximately 5.45am near Junction 11 of the A55, near the One Stop exit. Michael was wearing blue jeans, an electric blue coloured fleece with dark blue sleeves and a white bobble hat with three horizontal stripes. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

T/Chief Inspector Mark Armstrong, who is leading the investigation into Michael’s disappearance, said: “Nearly five weeks have now passed since Michael was last seen, and despite a number of potential sightings across several parts of North and Mid Wales, none have brought us closer to locating him.” ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“Extensive searches have been carried out across the north coast area, predominantly by the British International Rescue and Search Dogs teams, but these have not provided us with any new information, as we seek to bring Michael home to his family.” ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

He added: “I would ask all residents or property owners, particularly those along the A55 between Bangor and Conwy to check any outbuildings, sheds or holiday properties for signs of disturbance, and once again appeal to anyone who may have been travelling on the A55, particularly around the Bangor to Llanfairfechan areas between 3am and 9am on the 3rd April, who haven’t previously come forward, but may have any information that may assist us in locating Michael to contact North Wales Police on 101, quoting reference U047460.” ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“That one single piece of information could be vital in helping officers locating Michael and reuniting him with his family members.” ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
