Get Safe Online Communications Director, Stephen Sharp, said: “As people continue to ask more and more questions about online safety, it’s so important that the right information is easily available. That’s why we’re thrilled to be joining forces with North Wales police and Tesco to help raise awareness of online crime in the region, and more importantly, highlight the simple steps the people of Wales can take to make sure they stay safe online. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“It also means people are able to pop in and receive local and personal guidance, which for me, is invaluable. We are urging people to come and see us so they can find out more about the changes they need to make to stay safe online.” ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

DS Peter Jarvis of North Wales Police said; “The event is about highlighting the real risk to the public and businesses of cyber crime and how people need to stay up to date to stay safe on online. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“We will have experts on hand with information and advice to help people understand those risks and make informed choices about their online activities.” ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
