Holywell Attempted Robbery Appeal

Police are appealing for help to trace a man who intervened in an attempted robbery in Holywell. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The incident happened on the High Street at 10.15 am on Wednesday March 9 when a woman was pushed over by another woman who then attempted to steal her handbag. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The offender, who is described as in her 40’s with brown hair and was wearing a hooded fleece and jeans made off empty-handed when a man intervened to help the victim. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Police are asking for the man to come forward. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
