Murder Investigation – Land Searched Near Bwlchgwyn Wrexham

As part of an on-going investigation by North Wales Police following information that an unidentified body is buried in land in the Wrexham area, detectives and forensics experts have today (Thursday 19th May) commenced a detailed search and examination of land in forestry at Nant-y-Ffrith on the outskirts of Bwlchgwyn. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Eastern Area Commander, Superintendent Sian Beck, said; “This morning police search team specialists, forensic experts and detectives have commenced an examination and search of land at Bwlchgwyn. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

“A methodical and detailed search will be undertaken and may continue for several days. This search is linked to a number of searches conducted over the last few days in the Wrexham and Gobowen area and is believed to be linked to an historic murder.” ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
