Past Week Has Seen An Increase In Reported House Burglaries

Police are urging people to look at their home security following a spate of burglaries in the Rhyl area. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The past week has seen an increase in reported house burglaries, where cash and vouchers have been stolen from properties in the Bridgegate Road and Russell Road areas of the town. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

In a bid to prevent opportunist thieves, police want to encourage the public to ensure they review their security and keep doors and windows locked. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Detective Sergeant Rebecca Hughes said: “Investigations are ongoing, but we want people to be vigilant and to report anything suspicious as soon as possible by phoning 999. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
