From early morning officers from the Prestatyn Neighbourhood Policing Team and the Tasking Team called at properties – three in the Prestatyn area and one in Rhyl, and as a result of which three men were arrested. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Sergeant Mark Jones of the local NPT said: “These warrants were executed under the Misuse of Drugs Act and three men, a 44-year-old, a 29-year-old and a 28-year-old were all arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“They are currently at a local custody where they are awaiting questioning.” ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Property was also seized at an address and police inquiries are continuing. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Sgt Kalum Davies added: “Illegal drugs is clearly a cause of concern amongst members of the local community and we would like to reassure residents that we will act on information and take positive action. We urge anyone with information relating to illegal activity including the supply of controlled drugs to contact us on 101 or via our live web chat facility. Otherwise people can contact the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.” ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
