Detectives leading the investigation into the robbery at a Mostyn Street jewellers at 2.23pm yesterday, Wednesday 30th November, are renewing their appeal. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Senior Investigating Officer Detective Inspector Chris Bell at St Asaph CID said “An investigation is well underway with detectives interviewing key witnesses and studying CCTV. Initial enquiries indicated offenders left the scene in a grey BMW and this resulted in the recovery of a 5 series BMW in an alleyway close to Ysgol Dyffryn which is just off Trinity Avenue in Llandudno. The Regd No. displayed, which was recently stolen, is FE54 UGL and I am particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have seen this vehicle and its occupants at any time yesterday but particularly when it was apparently abandoned sometime between 2.25pm and 3.10pm. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“A number of witnesses have already come forward and together with other the members of the public caught up in yesterday events I’d like to thank them for their assistance and patience in the immediate aftermath and subsequent Police attendance. Fortunately no-one was injured, but this was clearly a very distressing incident for staff and the public and therefore any information that may lead to the offenders apprehension and prosecution will be eagerly received” ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Anyone with information relating to the incident is asked to contact NWP via the web live chat http://www.north-wales.police.uk/contact/chat-support.aspx and quote RC 161 80656. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
