Series Of Break-Ins In Amlwch

North Wales Police are asking for the public’s assistance following a number of burglaries in Amlwch over the weekend. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Investigating officer DC Chris Renshaw of Llangefni CID said: “Between Saturday night, December 10th and Sunday, December 11th, thieves broke into a number of houses, garages and vehicles on the Glorian Estate in Amlwch and stole several items. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

“I am therefore very keen to hear from anyone who was in the village and who may have seen any suspicious activity or who may know who was responsible for the break-ins. This was a despicable series of crimes on families as Christmas approaches.” ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

DC Renshaw concluded: “If anyone has any information about this burglary I’d like to hear from them. It is also worth reminding all house holders to be vigilant at all times and always ensure your property is locked and secured and if they see any suspicious behaviour to let us know immediately.” ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
