Serious collision between cyclist and HGV
An elderly man remains in hospital following a serious road traffic collision in Wrexham yesterday afternoon (Tuesday 8th March).
Shortly before 3pm police received a report of a collision involving a pedal cyclist and a heavy goods vehicle on Clywedog Road South on the Wrexham Industrial Estate.
An ambulance was called and the 76-year-old pedal cyclist was taken to the Wrexham Maelor Hospital. He has since been transferred to hospital in Stoke with serious injuries.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact officers at the Roads Policing Unit on 101, quoting reference number U033578.
