Serious Collision In Llanfaelog, Anglesey

A man has sustained serious injuries following a road traffic collision on Anglesey this morning (Friday, December 2nd). ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Shortly before 10am North Wales Police received a report by the Ambulance Service of a collision on the A4080 in Llanfaelog involving a motorcycle. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Emergency services attended the scene and the road was closed. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The motorcyclist has been taken by ambulance to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor with what is believed to be serious and life threatening injuries. Nobody else has been injured. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Officers believe that two cars were in the vicinity at the time, and although not directly involved, the drivers or passengers may have witnessed the collision. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The road currently remains closed. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
