Serious Collision In Tanygrisiau: Appeal

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious collision near Blaenau Ffestiniog yesterday evening (Tuesday, 29th November). ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

At approximately 5:20pm officers were called to a report of a two vehicle collision on the A496 near Tanygrisiau involving a black VW Golf and a red Saab. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The driver of the Golf, a 26-year-old man, was airlifted to hospital in Stoke with serious injuries. He is now said to be in a stable condition. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The driver of the Saab was taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor with what is believed to be minor injuries. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Police are appealing to anybody who may have witnessed the collision, or to anybody who saw either vehicle prior to the collision to come forward. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
