Following recent complaints about speeding and anti-social drivers in Bodorgan pupils, parents and teachers from the local primary school held their own ‘protest’ recently to highlight the potential dangers and attempt to educate drivers. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

On 30th January local Police and Community Support Officers Alison Williams and Marcia Hughes joined pupils and staff for a speed awareness session and to carry out some speed checks in the village. PCSO Williams said “Following some complaints from residents and the school we decided to hold an awareness session and speed check. The pupils were all really enthusiastic and made some excellent posters which they displayed to passing traffic as speed checks were conducted. I’m pleased to say motorists stuck to the limit and I’m sure the pupils presence and banners contributed to raising awareness and reinforced the potential consequences when speeding” ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
