Unique Handmade Christening Shawl Was Stolen From A Shop

Police are appealing for information after a unique handmade Christening shawl was stolen from a shop in Llandudno. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The white shawl was on display inside the shop on Madoc Street when it was stolen, sometime between 9am and 12pm on Saturday 11th June. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

PC Lynette Farley said: “This was a brazen theft from a small haberdashery shop. The proprietor spent some 30 hours producing the white crochet christening shawl and each row is of a different design – hence it is unique.” ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Anyone who may have seen the shawl or who may information relating to it is asked to contact PC 2235 Farley at Llandudno Police Station on 101 quoting reference RC16085584. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
