Update Following Mochdre Assault

Four people, three local men and a woman, have today been arrested in connection with the assault in Mochdre, late yesterday afternoon. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Detective Inspector Chris Bell said: “Thanks to the assistance of the public four others are now in custody assisting us with our inquiries.” ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The victim has received treatment at Ysbyty Gwynedd and has since been released. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The local male arrested last night on suspicion of assault remains in custody. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Insp Bell added: “At this time we are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident, but our inquiries are continuing and we are still keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the vicinity of Ffordd Euryn and Ffordd Y Maer in Mochdre between 5pm and 5.30pm yesterday, Monday 13th March. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
