Warrants executed in Towyn and Cheshire
As part of a continuing crackdown into illegal drugs, members the Rhyl based Tasking Team have again been out early this morning (Friday, January 29) executing a warrant in the Towyn area.
“The warrant was executed under the Misuse of Drugs Act and as part of the same operation, a warrant was executed in Crewe by Cheshire Constabulary.
Sergeant Kalum Davies said: “A quantity of what is believed to be illegal drugs was found at both locations and our inquiries are continuing. The items found will now be subject of forensic analysis.”
A 34-year-old woman has been arrested in Crewe on suspicion of the production of Cannabis. She has been taken to a local police station where she is awaiting questioning.
He added: “Our inquiries are continuing as is our work to tackle illegal drugs. As our recent work has demonstrated, we will work together with local Neighbourhood Policing Teams and our colleagues in neighbouring forces in our drive to tackle illicit substances.
